Church Membership
Munholland United Methodist Church is a diverse congregation. We seek to be broad enough in our ministry to serve persons of all ages and interests. We have a large program of ministry for married couples with children and youth while also maintaining opportunities of ministry for our members who are single. Although we do not have a singles' program, our single adult members find a wealth of service opportunities and fellowship throughout the ministries of the church.
We are an inclusive congregation with one focus--to worship and serve Christ and to become more Christ-like in attitude and action. Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ. While our faith journey is a deeply personal experience, it is not meant to be private. A commitment to a faith community and fellowship with other believers is essential to us leading a healthy and balanced Christian life. It is my hope that your journey connects with our journey along the way.
As a United Methodist congregation, we have ministry vows that are taken at the time a person joins our congregation. Our Vows of Membership are these:
- Do you confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and do you pledge your allegiance to His Kingdom?
- Do you profess the Christian Faith as contained in the Old and New Testaments of the Bible?
- Do you promise to live a Christian life with God's help?
- Will you be loyal to this congregation of the United Methodist Church and support it with your prayers, your presence, your gifts and your service?
